Today is a fairly quiet Monday. No major economic news is scheduled to be released today. Stocks are starting the day slightly higher. Mortgage Bonds are slightly lower, but very close to Friday’s number.
We know on Tuesday, October 22 we will get the September jobs report, and on Friday, November 8 we will receive the October jobs report. Although the September number is dated, the market is expecting to see 180,000 new jobs created, and the unemployment rate to remain at 7.3%.
September’s Existing Home sales were 5.29 Million, which was expected. Median Home Prices increased to $199,200.00
Mortgage loan rates are starting the day flat.
